My name is Shabbo. I am 20 years old and unmarried.
My father’s name is Jamal. We are 3 brothers and 1 sister in our family. I belong to a middle-class family. My father works as a daily wage laborer. It is very difficult to manage the household expenses with his income. My mother’s income is also very low, because of which we face many financial problems.
Due to our daily income and family problems, I was unable to do a parlour course. After some time, through a scheme run by Tata Power, I came to know about D.A.V Educational & Welfare Society. Here, I got information about many courses.
Different skills are taught here, such as:
• Beauty Culture
• Cutting & Tailoring
• Computer Course
These courses run for 6 months. Then I decided to fulfill my dream of learning tailoring. Along with the course, we also learn many important things that help us become independent and not depend on others. The facilities provided by Tata Power are very good.
I completed my one-year course at D.A.V Educational Welfare Society. After that, I started a small boutique at my home where I now earn around ₹7000–₹8000 per month. The course is explained very well and in an easy way.
The behavior of the staff at Tata Power Training Center is also very good.
